banana muffins
Banana muffins with chopped pecans.
These muffins are made from a banana bread recipe that my mom has been making for years.  The original recipe called for blueberries as well (I think it might have come from the Michigan Blueberry Association or something like that), but I usually leave them out because hubby doesn’t like the combo.  I used overripe bananas that I’d been saving in my freezer, and I subbed whole wheat flour for about half of the white flour. Also dumped in the rest of a package of chopped pecans I happened to have on hand.  Super yummy.
